Yosemite National Park is located 70 miles outside of Sonora.  Just a quick drive to the park entrance you will be in one of the nation’s most naturally beautiful landmarks.

Sonora has a great respect for the arts with local theatres and art galleries scattered all throughout the county.

Wineries throughout the surrounding area provide a great opportunity for entertainment and fun. There are 25 local wineries, all within a 25 mile radius.  One of the wineries, Ironstone, features a mainstage for concerts.  Check out their current concert lineup.

Nearby Columbia Historical Park is a place of rich tradition and offers visitors insight into the Gold Rush. Experience the Gold Rush in this historic park where they recreate the look and feel of how people lived in the 1800s.
